Election Results
The first results report is due at 8:30 PM on Election Night. There has been a VenturaVote.org disruption of service during the night. Use this link https://results.enr.clarityelections.com/CA/Ventura/122837/web.345435/#/summary
The 8:30 report should include all paper ballots received, signature verified, and run through the machines before 8PM.
This includes: the pre-Election Day in-person vote center ballots and the vote by mail / drop box ballots that have been verified and processed by Monday, November 4th – Election Day Eve.
It does not include: Election Day in-person vote center ballots or the vote by mail / drop box ballots that haven’t been verified and processed. As ballots are delivered from the vote centers, they are tabulated and those numbers will be included in the Election Night updated results. Updates are scheduled for 10:30 PM, 12 AM, 1:30 AM, and a final posting of the night (time TBD) when the last of the vote center ballots are counted. If you voted in person on Election Day, your vote will be reflected in one of those updates.
If Election Day voting is heavy, the result percentages will change as those ballots are counted and reported on Election Night and in the days that follow.
If the vote margin is small, the gap between candidates can close and even flip.
